About   2 comments

I am an avid photographer, explorer and traveler. I am passionate about photography and capturing the beauty around me. I grew up in Halifax, Nova Scotia and studied photography at Ryerson Polytechnical University in Toronto, Canada in the Media Arts program. The year after I graduated I received a Canada Council Arts grant to continue my exploration into digitally manipulated imagery. That was 1990 and I am not even sure Photoshop existed back then. I left Toronto to live in Ottawa, Ont. and worked at Corel Corporation where I supported the venerable CorelDRAW suite of software applications. During this time my career flourished and my photography took a back seat to the demands of work and starting a family with my wife.

Fast forward more years than I care to admit, further corporate ladder climbing, several different cities, and I continue to be drawn to my photography as a form of creative self-expression. Photography is my medium of choice to express my feelings about my experiences, the places I visit and the people I meet. I have decided to start this blog to share my images and the stories behind them.

Thanks for stopping by.

  1. Paul — your photography is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, and your description of each photo is equally as beautiful! You should publish them in a book.

    • Thanks Anne for stopping by. I appreciate the kind words. I have been looking for a way to share my photographs and practice my writing and the blog satisfies both those needs.
